Join the waitlist

The short version: we collect your email address so we can tell you when Monolith launches. If you answer the optional survey, we use the answers to decide what to build. Nothing else, no trackers, and we delete it when you ask.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this website and the waitlist is:

ogDahl ApS
CVR 36943157
Glentevænget 26, 8464 Galten, Denmark
Email: mail@ogdahl.dk

Write to that address for anything in this policy. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.

2. What we collect

DataWhen
Your email addressWhen you join the waitlist
Proof of consent: the time you agreed and which version of the consent text you sawWhen you join the waitlist
Which form you used, the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (utm parameters), the site that linked to us, and your country as a two-letter codeWhen you join the waitlist, if available
Your store's address, how many products you sell, what builds your product page today, and what frustrates you about itOnly if you answer the optional survey. Every field is optional.
Your IP address, kept only as a counter for spam protection and not linked to your emailEach time a form is sent. Deleted automatically after 10 minutes.

We don't collect your name, payment details, or anything about how you move around the site.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

  • Launch email. We use your email address to send you the launch announcement and launch pricing. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), given with the checkbox.
  • Product research. We use survey answers and the counts of sign-ups per campaign to decide which presets and features to build first. Legal basis: your consent, given by choosing to answer.
  • Spam protection. We briefly count form submissions per IP address to stop automated sign-ups. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working waitlist (article 6(1)(f)).

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

4. Where it is stored

The waitlist is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. The website itself is also hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare, Inc. processes the data on our behalf as our data processor, under the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum that is part of Cloudflare's customer terms.

KV keeps data in a small number of central Cloudflare data centers and caches copies in other Cloudflare data centers when it is read. The data can therefore be processed outside the EU and EEA, including in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found to give an adequate level of protection (GDPR article 45). If that certification lapses, Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum applies the EU Standard Contractual Clauses instead (article 46).

5. How long we keep it

  • Your sign-up and survey answers: until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe, and never longer than 24 months after you signed up.
  • The IP counter for spam protection: 10 minutes.
  • The survey cookie (see below): 7 days.

6. Cookies and trackers

This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media widgets and no third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.

After you sign up, we set one cookie, ml_survey. It holds a signed code that lets the survey page attach your answers to your sign-up. It is only sent to the survey address, can't be read by scripts, and expires after 7 days. Because it is needed for something you asked for, it doesn't require a separate consent banner.

7. Who else sees it

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the waitlist, as described above.
  • Email hosting. We send the launch email ourselves from our own mailbox, mail@ogdahl.dk, which is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited) as our processor under Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum. Replies you send us are stored there. We don't use a newsletter or bulk-email service. If we start using one, we'll name it here and update this policy before it receives any addresses.

When someone signs up, we may receive an internal notification. It never contains an email address or survey answers.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to the spam-protection processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will delete your sign-up. Withdrawing doesn't affect what we did before.

Email mail@ogdahl.dk from the address you signed up with. To unsubscribe, reply to any email from us or write to the same address.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or to ours: Datatilsynet (the Danish Data Protection Agency), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk.

9. Confirmation emails

We don't send a confirmation email when you sign up (no double opt-in), so that joining takes one step. If someone signed you up without asking you, email us and we'll delete the address. We may add a confirmation email later; if we do, we'll update this section.

The waitlist is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we'll email you before it takes effect.
